*８０’ｓ最初のストーンズ・アルバムは前作に引き続きやったらめったら元気爆発のレスキューであります。まージャケがかっこいい。まー１曲目、ダンスかっこいい。今回のテーマはサルサとテックスメックスか。なぜいきなりサルサラテンなんだろ。ＮＹでパーテー続出だったのかな。それにしてもメキシコ風味が不明。タコス食っててそいややってなかったかちゅう話になったか。ストーンズ・ファンの間ではこの盤、どんな評判なんでしょう。なんだかんだ言ってもメロディアスな曲を書く人たちですからこの勢い路線はどうしましょてな感じなのかな。どわーっと言ってしまえば最高の捨て曲全集、「捨て曲を演奏させたらかっこよく聴かせる世界最高のバンドbyみみちん」ですから滅茶苦茶好きです。とにかく繰り返し聴きたくなる。不思議だ。パンクから魂吸い取った元気曲が次から次へと。レゲも復活してますが、もオリジナル・レゲなんかどうでもいい。ははは。まーダンスかっこいいです。途中でピンク・レディになる瞬間も楽しいラテン・ファンクだ。あとシーズ・ソー・コールド。シャタード路線のミックさんのテンパってる踊りが目に浮かぶわざとどうでも良い風情にしている曲。エモーショナル・レスキュー。こりゃ不思議な曲です。裏声で思い出すのはカーティス・メイフィールドさんですが、どこかダブ世界にぶっとんでるくねくね具合が何とも気色わるー良いではないか。キースさんファンにはAll About Youちゅう必殺曲があります。メキシカンな国境付近のうらぶれたレストランで一人寂しく来ない待ち人を待っている姿が目に浮かぶ何ともジャック・ニコルソンです。どっちがどっちだかわからないほど入り乱れたギターの、そして全員チームワークばっちりだったからこそ出来た盤ではないかと思う素敵。いやーまたダンスから聴いてしまう。 (マスター)2003.08.24 |
