*某レココレ誌スティーリーダン特集にてダンの「ガウチョ」が本アルバム、３．のパクリだとゆう記述を見てどうにも気になって眠れない。入手いたしました。レーベルのＥＣＭはパット・メセニーで有名なとこ。個人的におすましお芸術のイメージが有りまして汚い大人になってしまったあたいにはこそばゆい感ありで近づかなかったのではありますが、これはエキサイティングだわ。静かな曲ではおすまししてるとこもあるけれどたまにはそゆうのも良いか。で、件のガウチョ曲、えー、まんまです。ははは。サックス無視して歌っちゃえばガウチョになる。完璧主義だと思っていたダンちゃん、なかなかお茶目。ジャズに関してはファン気質まるだしになるんだな。あの二人が好きになるだけあってああＪＡＺＺ聴いてるわちゅう雰囲気満点です。バックはリフ主体でアドリブより先にメロディがしっかりしてアンサンブルがっちりだからロック・ファンにも違和感無く聴けるのではないかと。アップの曲の盛り上がりは素直にいえいと言ってしまったぞ。スロウはもう夏向きで涼しい空気を運んでくれるからカーステでかければここはもう夜のＮＹ。おしゃれな貴方の夜を彩ります。ガウチョ曲だけでなく全体的にダン風味満点ですからファンの方はサイドメニューとして日々のダン生活に活用しましょう。ファンで無い方はそれに関係なく食えば美味い。それにしてもＥＣＭのジャケットは綺麗。他のも遭遇したら思わずジャケ買いしてしまいそうなの。 (マスター)2003.07.28 |
