*クランベリーズと並んで最近のピカイチな女性フューチャー・バンドと言えばこのカーディガンズなのだ。ＮＷ期にはシャーツとかシューズとかありましたがカーディガンとなるとお洒落だなあ。腹巻ズとかでなくて良かったね。この５人組、出身はスエーデンとゆうことでかの国と言いますとアバとかウガチャカのブルー・スエードみたいにポップ炸裂ながらちょっと田舎っぽい下世話さが身上のごとく思われますがこの人たちは全然違います。こりゃ聴いたこと無い感覚だわー、しいて言えばバート・バカラック風味ですがジャズぽく無いし。確か１.のカーニバルが紅茶のＣＭに使われたと思いますがまさにどんぴしゃ飲んで素敵な午後ねもうすぐレデース４ちゅう雰囲気です。そういった雰囲気抜群＋さっきのカーニバルを筆頭に曲の良さもたいしたもんで御多分に盛れず長尺のこのＣＤも飽きないで楽しめちゃう。いたづらもたっぷり余裕あるからこちらもニコニコ、疲れ取れます。あとボーナス曲の前でＣＤが止まるように作ってあったりしてこれは素晴らしいアイデア。そしてそのボーナス、これがまた良い曲ばかり。ついでに入れちゃうようなのじゃボーナスじゃないもんなあ。その中で驚くべき選曲が「サバス・ブラッディ・サバス」。はいブラック・サバスです。まー言われなきゃわかんなかったわ。見事な変身でまあこの手があったかのはまり具合。これ聴くだけでもロック・ファンはこの盤買いかもなあ。見事な音楽に謹んで１００点進呈いたします。 (マスター)2003.9.3 |
